These are articles that include reports of new research findings or conceptual analyses making significant empirical and/or innovative theoretical contributions to the field of child and youth psychology. Articles of this type are limited to a maximum of 10,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. The number of references in the manuscript must not exceed 60. The abstract should be between 150 and 250 words and include 4–6 keywords.
These may include meta-analyses or conceptual studies that provide important new theoretical perspectives in the field of child and youth psychology. To be considered for publication, they must go beyond merely summarizing the existing literature. Articles of this type are limited to a maximum of 10,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. The number of references in the manuscript must not exceed 60. Manuscripts to be submitted to the Journal of Child and Youth Psychology should be prepared in Microsoft Word using Calibri 12-point font, double line spacing, 2.5 cm margins, and left alignment. Paragraphs should begin with a 1.25 cm indentation, and no extra spacing should be added between paragraphs. Tables, figures, images, graphs, and similar materials must be placed in their appropriate positions within the text. Care should be taken to ensure that these visuals do not exceed the journal’s page dimensions.
For manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Child and Youth Psychology, a title page file containing author information and a manuscript file with author information removed must be included. In addition, other files such as a cover letter, ethics committee approval document, and data file may be uploaded optionally by the author(s). The use of the title page and manuscript file templates intended for submission is of great importance for the evaluation processes.

Title – It should be concise and informative.
Abstract – Please provide an abstract of 150–200 words.
Keywords – Please provide 3–5 keywords.
Introduction – State the objectives of the work and provide adequate background without a detailed literature review or a summary of the results.
Method – Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be replicated by an independent researcher.
Results – Findings should be clear and concise. Reporting in this section should be prepared in accordance with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 7th edition).
Discussion – The importance of the research findings should be evaluated within the framework of current and adequate literature. Results should not be repeated. The limitations of the research should be stated, and suggestions related to the findings should be included.
References – Must be prepared in accordance with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 7th edition).
