About the Journal

Journal of Child and Youth Psychology (JCYP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, and free scholarly journal focusing on psychological processes across childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. The journal publishes original research articles and review articles in developmental psychology, clinical psychology, psychological counseling and guidance, educational psychology, child development, and related fields. It is also open to interdisciplinary studies and research conducted in diverse cultural contexts.

Submitted manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers. The journal follows a continuous publication model, whereby accepted articles are assigned a DOI and published online in the relevant issue following completion of the editorial and typesetting processes, without waiting for the issue to be completed. The journal charges no submission, review, article processing (APC), page, or publication fees.
